SPOTS Standard for Calibration and Assessment of Optical Strain Measurement Systems

Part I describes the design and use of a reference material that can be used for the calibration of optical systems for strain measurement.  Part II of the same document describes the design and methodology for use of two standardised tests for the evaluation of the performance of optical systems for measuring strain.  SPOTS consortium accepts no liability arising from the use of these documents and the designs and methodologies described in them, however the documents are freely available for use and adoption by individuals or organisations.

CAD drawings for the reference materials and standardised tests can be obtained from the project co-ordinator.  Sale of the materials produced based on or using the designs is prohibited without the written permission of the project co-ordinator.
